Hi, I came across your blog not too long ago, read through most of your posts then I finalized by downloading your book Duel in the Savannah.
Quite frankly, I didn’t take a break longer than two glasses of water because I felt like the story could run away. It was incredibly breath taking. Your writing is crisp too. It reeks of superb talent and heavy thoughtfulness

If you are a CEO struggling with change management… Or an ordinary Kenyan wanting to learn how your investment group can totally transform your life…Or you just want an inside look at how someone can navigate the challenges of growing up with deprivation and near desperation and still end up on top to inspire generations of Kenyans? Then this jewel masterpiece of a book needs to be on your bedside table.. Next to your Bible…
Fantastic book. I started it this morning at 6.30am in the salon and was glued to every single word! The first section brought out so many emotions, I was tearing up. Came home and continued reading. It is safe to say, I had a very unproductive work day, lol! By 4pm. I was on the last page and actually felt sad that it was finished. A fantastic story. So very well told. Definitely worth your while. Fair warning though. Be prepared for no sleep if you start it in the evening 😁😁 Well done Ciru!
With its strong focus on templates for wealth creation, A Profile of Kenyan Entrepreneurs does a better job of interrogating questions of inherited privilege and succession planning. It interrogates failure as much as it documents success. Each one of the 13 entrepreneurs profiled narrates a humbling debacle. And they all provide useful lessons on innovation and self-actualisation.
