Apart from writing, I have a beautiful YouTube channel where I occasionally share tidbits about my life as well as momentous occasions like book launches and such. Visit my YouTube channel and witness first hand what it’s like to be an author in Kenya.

Getting copies of a book hot off the press is always such a rush, even when it’s your sixth book LOL. That never gets old. Seeing your name in print makes all the stress and hassle worth it. Watch as I unbox Silencing Anna in this video.
In this video, I share a sneak peak of the venue for the Silencing Anna book launch held at our family church, St Thomas Aquinas Seminary in Langata, Nairobi, Kenya. So many of our family events have been held here including my parents’ wedding in 1981, the baptism of my youngest sister Ronni on the same date, my sister MaryG’s wedding in 2013 and the Requiem Mass for my Dad in 2018.
I’ve interviewed plenty of business owners over the years and some of the lies they tell about their path to success are whoppers. It’s not all fun and games when building a business empire. Watch as I paint the real picture of what the entrepreneurship journey looks like.
When we told the priests and seminarians at our family church – St Thomas Aquinas Seminary, that we could help them raise money using their drama club, there were plenty of doubting Thomases. This video explains how we did it.
I wanted to start off the day by thanking the Almighty for his Blessings. We combined the book launch with a birthday celebration for our mum who was turning 73. As a family, we had planned to hold a big birthday bash for her 70th birthday in 2019 but it was just a year after we lost our dad and mum told us she was not ready to celebrate.

St Thomas presented her with a completely unexpected and very special gift during the Thanksgiving Mass. Watch to see what they gave her. It was just the first of several gifts they presented to mum that day.
After the Thanksgiving Mass, we moved into the church hall for the book launch – a fun filled party with lots of food, cake, dancing, a riveting panel discussion, book signing, more gifts for Mum from family and friends and of course unveiling the book.

After 20 years in traditional publishing I took the leap into self-publishing with my third novel Silencing Anna. In this video, I share some of the highs and lows of my journey and how self-publishing is different from traditional publishing.
We lost our Dad in 2018. This is the tribute I did to honour him during the Silencing Anna book launch on 3rd December 2022. I posted it to my YouTube channel on 26 April 2023 to mark the 5th anniversary of his passing.
I work from home and in this video I share a sneak peak of life in my little cottage in Kitengela in Kajiado County, Kenya.
This video is the third in the ARTPRENEUR Series I’m doing on my YouTube channel. I illustrate the importance of product placement in financing movies, TV shows, theatre (plays), music videos etc and tips on how to do it well using Grey’s Anatomy and James Bond movies.
